I know, it sounds like it should involve Pringles or Jenga or a bunk bed, but it is in fact the latest incarnation of what used to house the Cape Town Club at Leinster Hall in Gardens (where there also used to be an almost octogenarian bartender who knew everyone, and probably how to make a killer martini).
It’s prefaced by a slightly tragic story, which involves extensive refurbishment, and then a fire within a week of re-opening. But that part’s over, and it’s now open for business in all its up-cheering colourful splendour.
